Description

NGC 5905 and 5908 are members of the LGG Galaxy group 395 with NGC 5908 as the key member.
NGC 5908  is at the left side of the picture. The Galaxy is in a distance of 154 Mio Lj.
The visual diameter is 3,3 x 1,4  arcmin.
On the right side is NGC 5905 which is a barred spiral galaxy
The diameter is huge with 190.000 Lj in a distance of 158 Mio Lj.
The visual diameter is 4,0 x 2,6 arcmin.
At the bottom of the picture are some very distant galaxy groups where I could not get any information about!

Interesting is a ring shaped Galaxy in the left corner down. PGC 247695 with a diameter of 0,31 arcmin! Very interesting but no other information available! Maybe somebody has some data!!??

The big galaxy is NGC 5906/7. The size is 12,7 x 1,4 arcmin. The real size is 150.000 Lj. Distance is about 40 Mio Lj. in pictures with very long exposure time taken at dark locations a double tidal star stream can be seen around the galaxy. My picture is not deep enough to show it.
My detailed picture of NGC 5906/7 with the C11 is there:
